SEND at Forest Row

Welcome to Forest Row Church of England Primary School, where the well-being of all our children is paramount and where they are encouraged to reach their full potential. There may be times when children struggle, so we have robust systems in place to support them. This support will dependent on the child’s needs, and can be short term or for a longer period.

All staff are aware of SEND within the school and receive high quality information and training to support children. We aim to identify pupils who are making limited progress promptly, and provide targeted interventions and support to meet their needs. We ensure that parents are fully aware of the SEND process, and that they are informed of their child’s learning at regular points throughout the year. We are a fully inclusive school and work alongside the Local Authority, health professionals and community organisations to find the most appropriate and effective support.
