Welcome to Chestnut Class
This term (Summer 2026), our enquiry project will be:
'What was life like in Victorian times?'
Our Summer term project is ‘What was life like in Victorian times?’ which will have a focus on major changes that occurred during the Victorian era and their impact on people’s lives. This term, we will be finding out about key Victorian inventions such as the flushing toilet, the Industrial Revolution and also the development of the railway. Linked to the invention of the lightbulb and electric street lighting, we also have a focus on electricity, both in science as well as DT.
