Type of Governor

Jenny Barnard Langston

Authority Governor

I am an experienced Chair of Governors and I work with local authorities to deliver governance training and development.

I am a National Leader of Governance, appointed by the DfE and bring this experience to my role as Chair of the Bluebell Federation.

I share the vision and values of all the three schools within our federation and l am committed to ensuring that all of our children continue to enjoy their schools as calm, happy and purposeful places.

David Summers

Co-opted Governor

(Vice Chair)

David has lived in Forest Row since 2014 and has two children attending the school. He is keen to keep the school at the heart of the community. He is an optometrist and has a family background in education. The time he has spent as a parent reader encouraged him to become a parent governor in 2022

Dominie Wood

Co-opted Governor

(Vice Chair)

I have recently become a Parent Governor for the Bluebell Federation. I have two children currently attending Chailey St Peters.

Both myself and my husband are from the local area, and our extended families are also based locally, so we are very familiar with this part of Sussex.

I work part time as a GP, and there are certainly some similarities between the NHS and the education system.

I look forward to working alongside such a passionate and experienced team of governors.

Roger Vogt

Co-opted Governor

I am honoured to be a co-opted governor for the Bluebell Federation.  I have grown -up and continue to live in Sussex.  I am passionate about supporting the local community and helping our next generation to flourish.  I work within risk management in financial services.

In my spare time (When I'm not caring for my newborn son) I enjoy playing golf and taking my labradoodle for walks around Sussex.

Mandy Watson

Co-opted Governor

I am very pleased to be a governor for the Bluebell Federation with a particular focus on SEND pupils. I have spent many years as a teacher and Headteacher in England and in Africa and with five grandchildren now, I have a special interest in education across all phases. I am delighted to see the exciting learning Bluebell provides for all our children with our new rich curriculum opportunities. Since 2016 I have worked as the Diocesan Senior Schools' Improvement Advisor in Sussex. I was previously a Senior Education Adviser in London for 13 years. I have been a school governor since 2006 in East Sussex and in London. My hobbies are walking, (preferably in the mountains or by the sea) and reading so I am particularly pleased with our library!

David Woollven

I live in Fletching with my wife Sarah and our 7 girls who are all past, current, and future pupils of the school. Having lived in the parish most of my life, I also attended the school so have a strong connection to the area and its value to the local community.
