Helen lives in Forest Row and has been Chair of Governors since 2016. She has a background in education as a head teacher, HMI and Managing Director of a company providing care and education for young people with the most acute special needs |

Foundation Governor (Chair) |
Angela is the local vicar and is an Ex-Officio member of the Board. Over the last 18 years she has been on the GB of four different primary schools, three church schools and a state school. During her time as a governor she has been a treasurer and has sat on both a premises and a curriculum committee. Angela sees being a governor as a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the life of the community and to be involved in the future of the lives of our children which is ultimately contributing to the future for us all.

Ian first joined the GB as a parent governor when both his children attended the school. Ian has prime responsibility for Health and Safety and Safeguarding. He regularly visits the school as safeguarding governor and to hear readers. This means he is able to speak with children and make sure that they feel safe and happy.

Mary has been a governor for 5 years. She has a special interest in Early Years. She is a retired assistant head teacher with 30 years’ experience. Most of her experience was with the Early Years and KS1. Mary is a regular visitor who talks to the children and hears them read.

Peter lives in Forest Row and has been a governor for 2 years. Two of his children were at the school 15 years ago. Peter is a special needs teacher with a particular interest in dyslexia. He is one of the governors responsible for special needs. |

Sarah has been a governor for over 15 years. She has a responsibility for special needs and disability.

Ben joined the GB as a parent governor in 2011 and is a now a Co-Opted governor who sits on the finance committee. A hotelier by trade who has lived and worked locally since 2007, with one daughter in year 6 and another daughter who attended up to 2017.
